In January 2010, the Trio was awarded the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio award by a panel of judges that included Jaime Laredo, Sharon Robinson and the Juilliard String Quartet's Joel Krosnick. Chamber Music Cincinnati is an inaugural sponsor of this award. The Morgenstern Trio has toured extensively in Europe. This program is part of its first, 20-concert U.S. tour.
